Today's text is Matthew Chapter 28 verse 16 through 20 The subject is to have to fulfill the greatest commission of our precious Lord Jesus Christ. As you know, I am korean fundamental baptist preacher who have preached God's Word by using KJV Bible. In 1968, I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. Then missionaries to Korea who were sent by your churches led me to Christ through their translators those days. You loved Korea, so you sent them to win korean people to Christ. They also loved Korea so much. They could preached the Gospel of God and build churches in Korea with your prayers and mission offering. I appreciate your love, your prayer, and your mission offering once again. Now, I want to talk to you about the first point of this text First vol, 'Go' Jesus said to his disciples, "Go ye therefore" This commandment is based upon all power of heaven and earth. God gave all power in heaven and earth to our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, go ye. This means what we go to lost people with all power of Jesus Christ. Also in the 21st century, we must go to every places with Gospel of God. In Mark Chapter 16 verse 15, Jesus said, " Go ye into all the world"., All the world means all the places who people live, Southern America, Africa, and Asian people call you for their souls. Who must go there? We have to go there, directly or indirectly. Why do we have to go? Because I and you still have and preach the Gospel of God without compromising with other religeous organizations.Do you remember about the situation of korean people in 1950 and 1960? They had never known Jesus or Salvation those days. One missionary finished his sermon of salvation, and then he had an invitation time, Then, young child came forth to pulpit, said, "Missionary, give me 9(nine) won" So the missionary were surpprised at hearing the request. In korean proununciation, salvation(kuwon) was like Korean money, 9 won(ku won). Under such a dark and poor situation of korean people, they could led so many people to Christ. They followed calling of God, Go to Korea. And you sent them to Korea. Likewise, especially, Asian people including India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and China call you to come to their nation. In Acts Chapter 1 verse 8, Jesus commanded, "ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea , and in Samaria , and unto the uttermost part of the earth" We have to look into 'Both' in that verse. We will be able to apply the verse likewise, " ye shall be witnesses unto me (Jesus Christ) BOTH in Texas, and in the United States, and in Latin America, and unto the uttermost, Asia. Why don't you open your eyes for far-distance mission as well as our city, our State, and our nation I know that you have a strong missionary spirit and mind. I saw your support and project for missionaries in almost all the churches. As you know I am result or fruit of your missionary who came to Korea. So to go is very important. And to go pleases our Lord Jesus Christ. Second vol, 'teach all nations,baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. To teach all nations means to win souls. By going to people in all nations, we have to talk to them about the Gospel of God, namely how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures in order that they may be saved by the Grace of God. To win souls by preaching and teaching the word is so important and essential to us. In Second Timothy Chapter 4 verse 2, Paul said to Timothy, " preach the word; be instant in season, out of season" We should spread and preach the Gospel in season, or out of season. The purpose of preaching the word is to win souls. In the early days of korean ministry, our baptist bible college students and pastors had always carried Gospel tract in their pocket. And they presented Jesus Christ to them by showing Bible at home or in the street. At that times, almost all the korean people were Buddhist and they believed confucianism. Accordingly, they persecuted our born-again christians. Even though the situation was serious to us, we had continuously preached Gospel through house to house visitation and street evangelism. But recently most baptist preachers haven't carried such a Gospel tract as well as not to win souls personally. So they gave up such a wonderful ministry of soul winning in their church and house or street. In result, the number of church members were considerablly decreased. Instead of following the principle of God, they began to follow tradition and practices of presbyterian and chatholic church who have concentrated on social activities like washing body of bodily handicapped person, cleaning a street, and participating in community organizations for so- called social 'good'. And a small part of good baptist preachers claimed relative evangelism is more effective soul winning method than to go to house or people directly. Of course, it can be a soul winning method. This group haven't visited people, but they let their church members invite some friend or brothers to their church building for soul winning. They gave up to go for soul winnning. They said that it was ineffective to spread Gospel in house and on street, Of course I understand that to go and to win souls in Korea are difficult and hard for us these days. But we should fulfill the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ, though the situation is too bad to win souls that people disliked to contact with people . or that it was almost impossible to lead men and women to Christ. Most baptist preachers left the cammandment of our Lord Jesus Christ as well as to give up soul winning ministry. We are servants of God. we were called by God for the Gospel of God like Paul. As servant of God, we have to follow His commandment. By winning lost souls, our church should be grown up like Jerusalem church. Third vol, "teach and observe all things whatsoever Jesus Christ commanded his disciples. To teach all things that our Lord Jesus Christ taught his disciples is emphasized for us. We have to teach all the word of God to our church members, namely born-again christians, though they hate to hear all things that Jesus showed his disciples. When we preach or teach all the things that Jesus Christ commanded his Disciples, people can dislike them, and they can depart from our church. So most baptist preachers in Korea haven't taught all things to their church members, because they are afraid of hurting feeling of church members. Instead of teaching all things, they used to taech only a thing that preachers themselves or their church members like to hear from the word of God. Also church members used to frequently require what they want to hear from their preachers. However, it is natural for us to teach all things as servant of God. In Galatians Chapter 1 verse 6 through 10, "As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ" The word of God isn't after men. We have to please our Jesus Christ by teaching all things. Also we have to teach all tings, because our church members can grow by learning from the word of God. In II Timothy Chapter 3 verse 16 and 17, "all Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. As God talked to Joshua, preachers should be strong and courageous for teaching all things. We have to teach all things, all Scripture in order that our church members may be perfect and furnished unto all good works. In addition, to let church members observe all things is more difficult and harder than to teach all things to our church members. In Korea, almost all the baptist preachers gave up to let them observe all things, though a small number of preachers have fortunately taught all things to their church members. Korean baptist preachers who have laughed at me said that it is impossible to observe all things, so that it is better not to let them observe all things for your church growth. But we have to let them observe all things through teaching with power of God. Our Lord Jesus Christ is with us unto the end of the world for us to Go, Win Souls, Teach and Observe all things. I was strictly trained by the early missionaries to teach and observe all things. Until now. I am standing for all the word of God in Korea, though I am lonely. and though my friend turned from all things. Dear Precious Pastors and Preachers ! Let's open our eyes to continuously fulfill the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ, even though we face upon many obstacles. But finally Our Lord Jesus Christ and true preachers will bring the victory. In Joshua chapter 1 verse 7 "Turn not from it (all the law) to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayst prosper whithersoever thou goest."
